Featuring the most clinically studied PaceWave ASV algorithm, AirCurve 10 CS PaceWave™ is ResMed’s premium adaptive servo-ventilation (ASV) device designed to treat central sleep apnoea (CSA), mixed and complex sleep apnoea (CompSA), as well as periodic breathing, with or without obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). PaceWave ASV therapy
• The PaceWave ASV algorithm is the only one of its kind to target the patient’s own recent minute ventilation (MV).
• Learns, predicts and synchronises with the patient’s breathing pattern with split-second resolution.
• Rapidly increases pressure support when necessary to maintain MV at targeted levels.
• Gradually reduces pressure support to a comfortable minimum once breathing is stabilised, preventing over-ventilation and hypocapnia.
• The backup rate is automatically calculated to match the patient’s needs so that mandatory breaths are delivered at the patient’s recent spontaneous breath rate.

Optimised response to upper airway obstructions
AirCurve 10 CS PaceWave offers two different ASV modes.
• In ASV mode, the expiratory positive airway pressure (EPAP) is fixed, and can be manually adjusted.
• In ASV Auto mode, the EPAP automatically adjusts to provide only the level of pressure required to maintain upper airway patency.

Clear therapy insights
• Therapy summary data (365 days) can be viewed on the device or wirelessly through AirView. An additional 30 days of detailed data is also available remotely via AirView.
• Access to high-resolution breath-by-breath flow data provides clear therapy monitoring through the new version of ResScan™ data management software.
