The OsteoSys DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) system is an advanced medical imaging device designed for bone mineral density (BMD) assessment and body composition analysis. Using low-dose X-ray technology, the system provides precise measurements of bone density, fat mass, and lean mass, making it an essential tool for osteoporosis diagnosis, metabolic health evaluation, and sports medicine applications.

The Dual X-ray Aborptiometry or DXA narrow fan beam technology provides accuracy in measurements of body composition (tissue mass, lean mass and fat %).  It can analyse body fat, lean mass, and the weight of the patient as well as VFA, Hip analysis, FRAX and colour Mapping.

This tool can be used to detect lateral vertebral fractures and to evaluate the proximal femur geometric for better analysis of the hip.  It can also measure BMD of children, automatically exclude hip prostheses or other artifacts for more accurate results.

The widened scan area reduces the examination time improving patient throughput.

It is fully equipped with DICOM capabilities, storing, printing and transferring patient reports.  The user can save all data onto another PC or hard disk and use PRIMUS remotely from another PC in another location.
