Canon Ultrasound Machines | Aplio i-series ...
Aplio i-series is designed to deliver outstanding clinical precision and departmental productivity.
Crystal-clear images with enhanced resolution and penetration as well as an abundance of expert tools help you get your diagnostic answer quickly and reliably.
The Canon Aplio i-series, Healthy Sonographer Platform
Sonographers often work in painful static postures for extended periods of time, which increases their incidence of injury, resulting in work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs)
To address the issue of sonographers scanning in pain, our Aplio i-series systems have been designed with adaptive ergonomics, which helps sonographers achieve a comfortable scanning position even with different exam types.
Download the paper to explore the most effective positions for sonographers, and how ultrasound systems can be optimised to help improve sonographer comfort and patient engagement.
From craftsmanship to clinical excellence
Aplio i-series' innovative architecture has been engineered to prepare you for the challenges of today, and the future.
iBeam Architecture
Three technologies that work together to cumulatively optimise image quality:
24 MHz Ultra-high Frequency Linear Transducer
Aplio's i-series 24 MHz transducer with extended bandwidth and iDMS Dynamic MicroSlice technology provides excellent detail and definition in the near field for a wide range of examinations.
Superb Microvascular Imaging (SMI)
SMI is a technology that expands the range of visible blood flow and provides visualisation of low microvascular flow never seen before with ultrasound. Compared to conventional Doppler technologies, the advantages of SMI are high frame rates, high resolution, high sensitivity and fewer motion artifacts.
This gives clinicians a new way to reveal minute vessels when evaluating lesions, cysts, inflammatory diseases and tumors. SMI offers an efficient tool for fetal assessment and patient monitoring during treatment phase.
Shadow Glass
Using this semi-transparent glass effect can help physicians assess different layers of tissue and position of vessels all at the same time. Shadow Glass combined with functional data may help to better understand pathology.
Smart Sensor 3D
By attaching a magnetic sensor to standard transducer positioning information becomes available. Precise volume rendering and accurate measurements can be performed including distance, angle and volume.
iSense Design
Aplio's i-series iSense design can help boost productivity during daily routine exams as well as more most complex cases. It's smaller and lighter, design makes it easy to maneuver. With over 36 cm panel height adjustment, lateral slide and a fully articulating monitor arm, Aplio i-series helps you to optimally adjust the console to virtually any scanning position.
Height and Range
The Aplio i-series can adapt to nearly every clinical users situation with the ability to move low, high and everywhere in between.
Panel Range of Movement
The Aplio i-series supports global panel movements of 40° either direction for positioning, locking positions every 4°.
Local precise movements of panel when scanning Monitor rotation up to 383°.
