A dental air compressor is an air compressor that’s primarily designed for use by dentists and medical practitioners. Many of the tools that dentists use require an air compressor to function. 

To ensure cleanliness and mitigate the risk of contamination, dental air compressors must comply with strict regulations, and generally do not contain any oil. 

Dental air compressors are also usually powered by electricity and are generally portable. They offer oil-free air and generally make less noise when compared with other, full-sized air compressors.
