Benefits include fewer cameras due to higher resolution of images with megapixel technology, and fewer PC’s/DVR’s.

One PC can store high-res videos with audio easily and efficiently from around 40 cameras, or without a PC when recording in-camera using digital memory (USB,SD/MicroSD Card). Mobotix video solutions require lower network bandwith as everything is processed in the camera itself.

The high-resolution images therefore do not have to be constantly ‘transported’ for analysis. There are no software and licensing costs, and the cameras have no mechanical motors for lenses or for movement.

Without moving parts the Mobotix cameras are both robust and low maintenance, installation is simple due to the cameras being powered by the network using power over ethernet (PoE).
