Emergency stretchers are lightweight, yet strong stretchers on wheels, also known as emergency trolleys. Generally, we associate emergency stretchers with ambulances and emergency response, there are a variety of specialised trolleys designed for ease of use in emergency situations. There are also emergency stretchers designed specifically for hospital use.

Like ambulance stretchers, emergency trolleys aren’t supposed to be comfortable as such. They’re designed to support a patient securely with straps and head restraints during transportation.
